The cutest little guy I know!
Yesterday, while taking a break from finals I met this little guy. We definitely played hard together. We fed ducks, hung out in a hammock, chased each other. It is so great playing with a child, they have no reserve no discrimination, no fear. They just play. Forget not knowing the person they are all for it.
Joel and I didn’t really say much, but verbal communication wasn’t necessary because we were just enjoying each other’s company.

The bridge at Tybee Island in Savannah, Georgia

- When I was first applying to SCAD I looked at all the pictures I could find. I must have spent a full year researching the school looking up pictures, places around SCAD, anything I could find on the school I soaked it up. This bridge and this beach was a landmark I looked at and told myself I had to go and see.
The first weekend I was in Savannah we went to Tybee. It was like a dream come true walking on this beach, seeing the bridge I had looked at in all my research. It fulfilled all my expectations.

Savannah…
These are some pictures from a trip I took to the beautiful town during Spring Break. Going back I realized I truly did fall in love with it’s beauty, personality and sense of adventure. The one year I got to spend here was so amazing. Filled with many ups and downs but oh so beautiful.
These pictures perfectly describe the beauty and the sense of flight that I got from being back there. Sigh.. it is just so beautiful there.

"Not Even a Hint"

So challenging to read, but a good reminder and a goal that needs to be lived up to.

At the end of their relationship she asked if they could still remain friends. His face was expressionless until he said “No. Because we put friends in boxes. You see them once in a while, or even a lot, but still they have their box in your life, their specific place.Their *category.* That’s one of the great things about being someone’s love— you have no box in their life because you’re part of all their boxes. You’re their friend, their lover, their confidante— all those things. I don’t want to be put in one of your boxes and I don’t want to shrink you to fit into one of mine.

I want to live…

I want to live in a world where people say what they mean

Tell their loved ones what they need to hear.

Live in each others burdens

Where the world “I don’t care.” are only said when its the decision between to great things.

I want to live in a world where friendships are something to celebrate and not easy to forget.

Where smiles are causes for great joy.

Where friends don’t run but take on troubles as challenges, a game for love.

I live in a world where beauty is present even in the skinned knees of a fall.

I live in a world where the adventure comes in the vulnerability.

Where treasures are those I choose to say “I love you.” to.

A world where a great day involves a good joke with a friend.

The world I live in is amazing, not the one I want it to be.

But I’m happy because I know its potential.

These were taking in my grandparents house.
The letters are ones my grandfather wrote to my grandmother while he was away. They are filled with facts and show how much he wanted her to be apart of his life while still away.
I love how my grandfather wrote my grandmother’s name, so delicately yet full of strength.
The chairs are theirs. I suppose as you get older in life you claim a chair.
I wonder what mine will look like.
The red one is my Grandfathers, I have fond memories of sitting on his belly (when i was the appropriate size for that) and enjoying just who he was.
My grandmothers is the green. She always looked so elegant, even when she propped her feet up on the table.
Sadly my grandmother has passed away and my grandfather no longer lives in the house. The chairs speak so much but are a sad reminder of what time can do.
